Publications

Syntax-based machine translation models may have different requirements for word alignment. DeNero and Klein (2007) consider the affect of word alignment on rule extraction in a HMM alignment model. Rules from a syntax-based machine translation model may be also used to improve word alignments using a EM realignment method (May and Knight, 2007).
