Publications

Zhao et al. (2004) describe a method to extract training data for targeted language models based on similarity to the n-best output of a first decoding stage. Hasan and Ney (2005) cluster sentences according to their syntactic types (i.e. questions vs. statements), train a separate language model for each cluster and interpolate them with the full language model for coverage.
