Fourth MT Marathon in the Americas, May 21-25, 2018

They are native speakers of C++, and they reside in our midst on semipermanent loan from the Internet.

We invite researchers, developers, students and users of machine translation to participate in the 2018 Machine Translation Marathon in the Americas. This week-long event will include:

  • MT lectures and labs, ranging from beginners' tutorials to showcase talks by leading researchers. Everyone can learn or strengthen their knowledge.
  • Technical talks about open source tools for MT
  • Week-long open source MT hacking projects, led by experienced developers and researchers.

The MT Marathon will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, organized by Carnegie Mellon University.

Program

Events will be planned for all day on all five days of the marathon. However, people can participate for only part of the marathon and still make a meaningful contribution and learn a lot!
